Account and billing

Your profile, what plans cost, and managing a subscription.

Your profile

Settings shows your name and the email address you sign in with. Tap your name to change it.

Two things you can’t change yourself:

  • Your email address. There’s no way to change it in the app. Email support@broadheadsoftware.com from the address currently on the account and tell us the new one.
  • Your voice part. Your director sets that, per choir, so a singer can be an alto in one choir and a soprano in another. Ask your director or section leader.

How you sign in (codes, passkeys, Apple) is under Settings › Security, and covered in signing in.

What you pay during the beta

Nothing. Every plan is free while Choirside is in beta, and there’s no card to enter. Choirs that join during the beta are marked founding choirs permanently. When we do start charging, you pay half the published subscription fee, whether you subscribe on the first day or five years later. Fees we pass straight on, such as payment processing or tax, aren’t discounted. See pricing for the full offer.

Manage your subscription

Subscriptions are bought and managed on the web, in your account settings, and card payments are handled by Stripe. Canceling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the current period ends, after which the choir moves to the Free tier limits. Canceling does not cost you founding-choir status, that stays on your account.

Members never pay for anything, and every practice feature is on every plan including Free, so nothing your singers do depends on which plan you’re on.

Organization plans can be invoiced annually if your school or church needs a purchase order. See pricing for what each plan includes.

Leaving a choir, exports, and deletion

Leaving a choir, downloading everything we hold about you, and closing your account are covered in your data, exports and deletion.

One thing worth repeating here: leaving a choir deletes the recordings you made in it, permanently. Download your data first if you want to keep them.
